Hotel 224 is a must if you are searching for excellent accommodation, banqueting or conference centre services. Its the meeting place for people who expect a pleasant conference experience. The conference centre doors of Hotel 224 were opened in 1996, and there are three unique conference rooms.
The Gauteng Indaba is suitable for groups of up to 20 delegates and has a theatre style appearance. Then we have our Bushveld Room which is theatre style appearance and which can accommodate about 30 delegates. For more private meetings; smaller groups of people, to cater for between 5 and 25 people, we have our Lions Den conference room, situated on the 15 th floor of our hotel. Lions Den has it own private area where snacks and beverages are served.
Each conference centre is equipped with equipment that one associates with the good quality service of a very successfully run hotel, e.g. overhead projectors are available, whiteboards, televisions and notebook projectors. Our conference rooms can accommodate up to 120 people and we have a conferencing co-ordinator at Hotel 224 who is available throughout the conference day to help you with any requests or needs in a highly efficient way.
Because the ambiance at our hotel is welcoming, warm and relaxing, guests come back over and over again, whether for business or pleasure, and because we know that delegates love being catered for at Hotel 224, we offer a conference package which includes tea and coffee during the days with snacks, a full buffet lunch and refreshments on the tables. Our conference facilitator will meet your needs at all times, whether its a one-day meeting or a week-long seminar. Menus are compiled for every occasion, and when it comes to dining, we will gladly see to your culinary needs in true South African style.
