Hotel 224 has extensive conference facilities
Hotel 224 offers fully equipped conference facilities in a restful atmosphere. Because our conference facilities are in a hotel environment, it also solves the problem of where delegates should stay. Our comfortable rooms offer premium three-star accommodation and delegates do not have to travel from their accommodation to their conference venue and back.
Hotel 224 offers three different meeting spaces. The smallest is the Lions Den, which accommodates between 15 and 25 people, depending on the seating layout. It has its own private area where we serve your snacks and beverages. The Bushveld Room is a little larger, for between 18 and 40 delegates. Gauteng Indaba is our large facility for up to 120 people. Because of its size, it is also a popular wedding reception venue.
Our conference packages include coffee and tea on arrival. We also serve coffee, tea and snacks in the late morning and again in the afternoon. Lunch is a full buffet, although you may request something lighter if you prefer, like a light lunch or cocktail platters. Our event coordinator will help you plan your event and will be available on meeting day to anticipate any requests or changes. Our facilities are equipped with all the expected conference equipment, including wireless Internet access. We are flexible and can tailor any event to your needs, whether it is a one-day event or a weeklong seminar. Our rates are negotiable too, and we offer preferential rates for block room bookings for your delegates or guests.
