The Old Town Tavern reminds of Pretoria, 100 years ago, and is ideal for a scrumptious pub lunch or something to drink. Our bar menu includes light meals like the 224 Snack Basket, salads and sandwiches. There is also a selection of burgers and side dishes like chips, mushrooms and peri-peri chicken livers; for the starved, there are beef, chicken and fish grilles. Treats for afterwards include ice cream, muffins, pancakes and waffles. Of course, a selection of soda drinks, ciders, beers, juices, tea and coffee is available too. All these items are available in your room through our room service.
Our buffet dinner menu is extensive too. Among the salads are Smoked Salmon, Beetroot and Potato Salad. The main course draws from a full selection of dishes, like beef, chicken, pork, fish and lamb dishes, as well as vegetables, rice and sweetcorn, among others. There are many desserts and pastries to snack on as well. All our catering is overseen by our fastidious Food & Beverage Manager and we also offer outside catering. Of course, conference delegates making use of our meeting spaces also eat off our excellent menu.
