What do you expect when you pay typical 3-star hotel rates at a 3-star hotel? Typical 3-star accommodation and service, of course. Unless you stay at Hotel 224. You may find that you get quite a bit more than you had expected for our 3-star hotel rates.
For starters, our rooms are really comfortable and tastefully furnished, and we give you a choice: you may opt for a non-smoking room and you may specify whether you want a room with a double bed or one with two single beds. Some amenities are not negotiable and come as standard: air conditioning, a mini safe, a television with several DStv channels, an en suite bathroom with toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and wireless Internet access. Considering we are a budget 3-star hotel, this is hardly “budget”. That is why we call ourselves “luxury budget”.
Included in our eminently reasonable rates is our excellent full buffet breakfast, which you will not soon forget. The choice is epic and you may choose from all manner of cereals, fresh fruit, warm chicken and fish bites, eggs, bacon and fried tomato. Everything is served with fruit juice, tea or coffee – and toast. Pub lunches can be enjoyed in our Old Town Tavern pub and restaurant, or ordered from your room via our room service. Our hotel also offers conference facilities at very reasonable rates, for parties from 15 to 120 people.
