Hotel 224 is located within easy access to the Union Buildings, the State Theatre, Pretoria Art Museum, Loftus Versfeld Stadium and a range of shopping centres, entertainment venues, embassies, hospitals and universities.  Offering superior budget accommodation comprising 224 en-suite single and double rooms, Hotel 224 is a prime location for conferencing in and around Pretoria and Johannesburg, as well as out of town conference delegates.  With a choice of three conference rooms to choose from, you can rest assured that we can tailor make the perfect conference for your company.

Depending on the size and desired layout of your conference, you can choose from one of our three on-site conference rooms:

  • Gauteng Indaba: for larger conferences.  Accommodates up to 120 delegates ‘theatre’ style; 100 delegates ‘lecture/classroom’ style; 70 delegates ‘block shape’ style and 55 delegates in ‘U-shape’ style.
  • The Bushveld Room: for mid to small conferences.  Accommodates up to 40 delegates ‘theatre’ style; 25 delegates ‘classroom’ style; 22 ‘block shape’ style and 18 delegates in ‘U-shape’ style.
  • The Lions Den: for small, intimate conferences.  Accommodates 25 delegates ‘theatre’ style; 18 delegates in ‘block shape’ style; 17 delegates ‘classroom’ style and 15 delegates in ‘U-shape’ style.  This is a private room on the 15th floor with its own private area in which delegates are served snacks and beverages. 

All of our conference rooms come equipped with the full range of standard conference equipment and delegates are provided with tea or coffee upon arrival; morning tea, coffee and snacks; full buffet lunch (or cocktail platters upon arrangement)’ afternoon tea; coffee and snacks and on-table refreshments.
